If you are currently running 4.5.1 or 4.5.2, you need to upgrade to that version of 4.5.3. To avoid this needless formatting, you can download just the plain OS from a mirror on : CX and CX CAS. Note that the needed CX (CAS) OS 4.5.3.14 is not directly available from TI’s download pages, only a special “installer” variant which formats the filesystem can be downloaded there. While the biggest change is obviously the support for the CX II models and operating systems, users of later CX calculators (HW revision W and up) can now enjoy a better LCD compatibility mode, with much better application support and performance.

In total, this means that this installer supports 10 different OSs and with this release, ndless_resources.tns reached support for 42 OS versions, all the way back to 3.1.0.392! It retains support for the slightly older releases (4.5.3.14, 5.2.0.771) as well, in the same installer files. This release includes an installer for the latest OS versions for CX (4.5.4.48) and CX II (5.3.0.564) models, which were just released a few days ago.
